Subtracting from the Third Space

Subtracting from the third spaceIt’s a short performance choreographed by Mirko Guido and performed by Nastasja Berezin and Mariana Graça (both students at the Danish National School of Performing Arts), created for Museum Jorn, Silkeborg (Denmark) in occasion of the opening of the retrospective exhibition of artist Martha Jungwirth.

The duet unfolds unfolds within the quiet density of the encounter between the two dancers—where gestures emerge, flicker, and recede; where bodies trace the space between connection and detachment. The work navigates absence not as emptiness, but as a charged, tactile condition—marking what is withheld, delayed, or only partially revealed. It proposes intimacy as something suspended, sensed, and continually deferred.
